Quick Quote

All vehicle groups are on request. We guarantee to confirm or otherwise within twelve hours of your request, however in most cases confirmation would be immediate.

Rates

All rates are shown by using the Quick Quote function, they are valid if the booking is made at that time and no guarantee is made that the same rate will be offered again.

Payments

We request that full payment is made by EFT at least 3 business days prior to pick up, we will send a payment reminder 7 days prior to pick up.

If paying on arrival we prefer cash or cheque,with a credit card imprint for security. If you wish to pay by credit card a service charge of 3% will be added to the total amount payable. VISA and Mastercard only accepted

Cancellation Fee

Rental Duration

A rental day is 24 hours from the time of pick up. Additional hours are chargeable at the rate of 1/3 (one third) of the days rental charge per hour up to three hours. After three hours another days rental fees will be payable. Timings start from ETA of flight. We are unable to offer any grace periods.

Damage Liability

Our rates are subject to the Damage Liability Excesses shown below,by payment of the daily ERW (excess reduction waiver) shown you may ,subject to the terms herein and on the rental agreement being met reduce your liability as shown.

A Security Deposit may be required to cover the chosen excess on the vehicle. This will need to be paid in Cash or AUD Travellers cheques on pick up. The amount will be advised on pick up and will range from between 50% and 100% of the chosen excess, this will be refunded at the conclusion of the rental providing no Damage, Cleaning, Late, or Fuel charges are payable. Due to our minimum cash handling policy as enforced by our insurers we reserve the right to refund by cheque. In most cases if the ERW is paid (see below) to reduce the Damage Liability Excess we will accept a credit card imprint, this also applies to our "Preferred" previous customers, however we are not able to accept a credit card imprint from first time customers if the excess is left at $5000. Also, we strongly recommend customers do reduce their excess, as if an uninsured driver causes the damage you may not be able to recover the costs, and other Insurance you may have may not cover you or take a long time to compensate you, especially if you are from overseas.

Any parking or traffic violation that the renter fails to settle direct will incur a service fee of $75.00 in addition to the stated penalty.

You are reminded that all underbody or overhead damage is at renters risk and in the event of the vehicle being driven on any unsealed road or surface or out of the area of authorised use as shown on the rental agreement then the renter is liable for the total cost of both damage and associated costs.

Minimum/Maximum Ages

ECMR, CCAR, ICAR – Minimum Age 21 Years,Maximum Age 75 Years.

SCAR, FCAR, IVAR – Minimum Age 23 Years,Maximum Age 75 Years.

Drivers License

We ask that you produce a current Australian, overseas or international drivers license which has been held for a minimum of two years. Minimum age (as above) is 21 years.

Fuel

Fuel is on account of the Renter,we ask that prior to returning that the tank is re filled to the level received. If this is not done we are happy to re fuel the vehicle @ $2.50 per litre.

Child / Baby Seats

Approved Baby seats,and booster seats are available, subject to availability at time of booking, please ensure request is made at that time.

Street Directories and Maps

We offer city street maps upon request at time of booking.

Satellite Navigation Units

We offer the latest Satellite Navigation Units ,they may be ordered in the booking process.

Fleet

We pride ourselves on the standard of our vehicles,which normally are aged between 1 and 3 years,we always endeavour to present them in showroom condition,and are meticulous regarding regular maintenance to ensure trouble free driving for you.

Airport Deliveries

SEQ Rent A Car is a Licenced off airport operator at Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports.This means unlike some other operators the vehicle is right at the airport in the same way that you would experience from the major companies,but without the hefty surcharges!!.This way you do not have to wait around for a shuttle bus to transfer you,in some cases 20 minutes away to an office to complete the paperwork,then on return have to repeat the process,wasting valuble holiday time.Full details are given in your confirmation.

Hotel & Motel Deliveries

SEQ Rent A Car offers a free courtesy pick up and drop off service to all accommodation houses on the Gold Coast between 9am and 4pm,7 days a week,subject to availability of staff,full details will be given in the confirmation if you select Surfers Paradise as the pick up point.

Tolls and Unpaid Infringement Notices

There are a number of Toll Roads in SE Queensland,It is your responsibility to ensure any tolls are paid in a timely manner,please see the Link in our “Useful Information” links for more details. Any tolls or other infringements not settled by the renter that require us to submit a Statutory Declaration to the issuing authority will attract a service fee of $75,in addition to any penalty imposed by the issuing authority directly to you after we have advised them of the driver.

We remind you that Queensland and NSW uses mobile speed cameras widely and to avoid not only a charge from us as well as a fine and loss of demerit points,as well as from a safety point of view that all speed limits are adhered to.

Vehicle Condition on Return

Our rates are kept low by asking vehicles are returned in the same condition as received and do not require extensive cleaning inside or out,any vehicle not returned as received may result in a cleaning fee of $25 minimum being levied,we also remind you that all our vehicles are by law designated non smoking for the benefit and safety of everyone.
